On April 22, 2017, over 55,000 people marched for science in San Francisco.

We rallied in Justin Herman Plaza, marched down Market St., and celebrated science at the Civic Center. We were recognized by the city with a "Certificate of Honor" to acknowledge our local leadership's commitment to the March for Science mission. We hosted over 36 speakers and four panels. We partnered with Earth Day, Hewlett Foundation, PLOS, Cal Academy, and over 30 other organizations to bring science education, advocacy, and discussion to our public science fair. It was an incredible day, and it was just the beginning.
